1 - Navigation bar
The Navigation bar is the dark bar at the top of the screen. By default, your first project is selected. A project is a collection of related work, compliance for example. You can change this to a different project using the drop down menu next to your project name.
Once you have selected a particular project, the menu items that have been configured for that project will appear in the Navigation bar. In the project menu itself:
- Workspace takes you to the project dashboard
- Configure Project lets you set up the project configuration
- All Documents takes you a list of all documents in the selected project
- Finally, all other projects are listed alphabetically
2 - Action bar
The action bar gives you access to the Solution Store, Global Search and User Profile.
The Solution store, and Global search can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate icon.
Click on | Expands to | Description |
Check Mark | This takes you to the solution store, which is a marketplace for pre-defined best practice templates that can be downloaded and customized to meet your needs. | |
Magnifying Glass | This takes you to global search, which allows you to find a particular term in any documents across your project. |
Your User Profile can be accessed by clicking on your name. Here you can change your password, update your company information (admin only), view your projects (admin only) and update your payment details. This is also where you log out of RequirementONE.

4 - Configure Project
This option allows you to configure your project, including editing the menu's, creating roles and setting permissions.
5 - Workspace
The workspace area is completely configurable. In a newly created project this area is blank, until you have added in some documents, and promoted them to Primary Navigation. Once that is done, this is where you can see the content you have created, as well as manipulate the content by creating, configuring, editing or deleting it.
6 - Help
