About the Planning App

The Planning app is used for basic project management and time recording. It is where you organize your project tasks in a hierarchy.

High level tasks include the different phases in your project such as initiation, execution and user acceptance. These phases can in turn be broken in to the detailed deliverables.

For each task you can define different values such as start date, end date and estimate. This helps you manage your tasks and provides a progress status at task level or at a higher level where dates, time spend and percent completed are shown as aggregated values.

You can also assign tasks to one or more users and create links to records, policies, issues and feedback in other apps that are relevant for the particular task.
